Blogmas Day 16: What Christmas means to me?
Okay so I may have accidentally skipped at day...But come on it's my first time, everyone makes mistakes (cheeky ;-) )!
But to make it up to you I have uploaded a video to NatsChatsTV (my YouTube Channel for those who don't know) where I showed you a quick summary of The 1975 show I went to last night. IT WAS AMAZING! Although it was the reason I didn't upload a blog post. But just think instead of writing something I gave you something which requires much less effort (on your part at least) all you have to do is watch a video to find out what I was up to instead of reading a horrifically spelt blog.
But anyway moving onto today's Blogmas I though I'd take advice from my old pal Stevie Wonder and tell you "what Christmas means to me".
For many it's a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (It is a religious holiday dont forget) but I feel like it has evolved from the original meaning. To be it is now an opportunity to meet with all my family and friends which I may not normally see the rest of the year. It is also a time to show other people how much they mean to you (yes presents) and just generally have a little relax at the end of the year and reflect on what you have done and accomplished. I know that some of you may not celebrate Christmas due to difference in faith or any other opinion/belief but you can still join in on the season by simply enjoying yourself (at least most of you will get a day off).
As I said it's also a great time to just chill after your busy year (its nearly over) and look forward to what the future brings. A great excuse to put of a few (or a few more than a few) pounds and allow yourself to smile and laugh and be merry. I find that many people try to disguise themselves and their true emotions nowadays because they're scared of what others will think but, let us just think. If we all relaxed and let our emotions be free (just for once) then surely there would be no judgement and therefore no need for anyone to be putting up shields. Please remember this when you're out and about this Christmas season.
I hope you enjoyed this short little heart to heart (i seem to be doing alot of these lately). If you would like to check out my vlog (please do) then you can go to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpBzAFrhPBrlhObNi6ahL4A
