My Experience So Far: University/College (Intro - 1)

Image
In this collection of posts I will be revealing the truth behind University (or College of you're not English) life. This may be helpful to some of you considering Uni or reassuring to those of you already there. If you have any questions regarding anything University related please comment anywhere on this page or contact me on any of my social media. I will share my personal problems, worries, challenges, loves, enjoyments and general thoughts about Uni life in the hope that they will benefit you as much as it will benefit me to get them written down. There was in fact, an option to do this job and actually get paid for it which I reluctantly did not apply for because I thought it would be much nicer to be completely honest with my readers about what Uni life is really like, instead of being persuaded financially otherwise. Everyone told me University years are the best of your life - let's see shall we? So to start off with let me give you a (relatively vague - I do...

12 Days of Natsmas: How to Survive Awkward Christmas Moments (3)

Image
This may be the most important post you read this Christmas so, don't stop... you have been warned. Hello Darlings, Today I will be guiding you on how to get out of life's most awkward Christmas moments, because lets facts it, it's a sticky time of year, awkwardness lurks at every Christmas tree filled corner. So I shall waste no time at all because some of these may have occurred already: 1) PRESENTS This has it's own section because SOOOOO much can go wrong with presents, it's bad enough picking them out for everyone else, but you forget the horror of having to open them in front of everyone else. The First one is opening a present, you absolutely hate, like literally does this person even know you? What is it? What is that? What does it do? I can't even! But little do you know, whilst these questions are rushing through your head, your face is reacting to them, meaning that everyone can see EXACTLY WHAT YOU THINK OF THAT VERY PRECIOUS ARTICLE YOU HA...

Get Over It: Short Story/Advice article

I know, im updating the old blog AGAIN! What has gotten into me? Anyway I wrote a short story/advice article thingy which I though you may wish to read, I dedicate it to anyone going through heartbreak. I hope you enjoy it as I certainly do, it apparently should take you 3 WHOLE MINS to read so don't worry about taking up too much time out of your very busy lives. Enjoy and see you soon, Xx Confusion. That’s the primary source of emotion. Why? Just, why? You thought things were going so well, clearly you were wrong. It doesn’t matter how they did it. It just hurts that they did. No matter what the inspirational quotes and magazines tell you, at this moment, you do need them. Whether it’s been one date or 143, if you’re divorced, newly single or have always technically been single but wishing for more. It hurts. Of course like any big grievance you go through the famous 5 stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Everyone becomes a love guru telling you ...

Blogmas Day 23: Memory Log Tip

Omg it's Christmas Eve Eve already! How? It seems like only the other day we started Blogmas and now we're nearly at the end. You know what, even though I did find it annoying having to come up with a new idea to blog about each day and having to actually get off my lazy ass to write something, I think I am actually going to miss you. I know it'll only be a few days before I start blogging again (most probably in the new year) but just think that's NEXT YEAR!!! Anyway for today's blog post I wanted to give you a little tip which will help to make your life seem that little bit better. This is a great idea for when your feeling down or hopeless as every time I read mine it completely boosts my mood (which can seem like an impossibility at times). It's also incredibly simple as all it requires is a pen and paper (or ya know the notepad of your phone). I call it my "moments to remember" page but you can come up with a much more personal or creative na...

Blogmas Day 6: Favourite Quotes

SEE! I told you I would see you today, I keep my promises!.. Most of the time. Anyway, Today I thought I would enlighten you on some of my favourite life quotes. This is dedicated to you if you ever have a bad day or just feel like you need a bit of a boost (I know I certainly do!). So here is a compilation of both song lyrics/movie quotes and just general people's sayings that I have grown to love: For when you're confused (unsure of how to act in a certain situation): "Sometimes you don't need to walk in another person's shoes to know how they feel, sometimes the best thing that you can do is sit beside them" - Red Band Society (Another fave TV show which I forgot to add in yesterdays blog post). " We're not lost, we're just finding our own way in the world" - Way in The World by Nina Nesbitt "This right here is definitely a moment, anything could happen next" - Now is Good For when you feel all warm insi...
